![]() ![]() It's a fun little game, well done, with good music, and some very scary monsters, but short, like every other game like this one, sadly. Some aspects of the story don't make much sense, like the fact that on one hand, the protagonist seems to be transported into another reality, but at the same time you will find logs with stories as if the entire village were suffering the same fate (some kind of cosmic horror discovery), which doesn't match the ending. The game was released on November 19, 2019. The game is very linear and that is not a bad thing, although it's got 2 endings, as usual in these kind of games Just as in Rime, Tequila Works knows how to touch some fibers inside of you, but I am glad to say that unlike Rime, which was absolutely devastating to me, emotionally speaking, in this game they didn't go that far, despite being a bit hard at some points, regarding the main game's topic: bullying. Gylt (stylized as GYLT) is a 2019 action-adventure horror videogame developed by Tequila Works, published by Stadia Games and Entertainment exclusively for Google Stadia. Also, I miss more exploration and collectibles. Set in a creepy and melancholic world, GYLT is an eerie story mixing fantasy and reality in a surrealist place where your nightmares become reality. It's not a bad game, but it could have been better if it relied more on puzzle solving and less on stealth and avoiding monsters, in my opinion. You can buy the game digitally on Steam on PC (Windows only), the Microsoft Store on Xbox One and Series X/S, as well as the PlayStation Store for PS5 exclusively. The themes of the game are so basic, however, they feel aimed at first graders, while the rest of GYLT is clearly not, as some of it is still scary enough to make 30-year-old me shriek embarrassingly loudly. Now, Gylt is launching on PC and console. The story is by far the weakest part of GYLT, and it’s not because the writing is bad. Her life is not easy, and it has become even worse since her little cousin Emily disappeared. The story: Live the story of Sally, a little girl living in Bethelwood. And, being an early release, Google’s effective paywall for Stadia access at the time meant that the game came with a hefty hardware investment. Tequila Works will release eerie narrative adventure game GYLT for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on July 6, the developer. The game: GYLT is a narrative adventure game with puzzles, stealth and action, set in a fictional old mining town in the state of Maine. You play as a young girl, Sally who is looking for her missing cousing, Emily. On Stadia, Gylt gathered excellent reviews unfortunately, the game wasn’t enough to really attract an audience to the platform. But, when Stadia died earlier this year, it took Gylt and some other games with it but thankfully, Gylt is now back with a release on PC and consoles. The first exclusive available on Google Stadia back in 2019 was Gylt, a horror adventure game from Tequila Works, which was actually a ton of fun. ![]()
